How it works
Your watch signs every command
Coil Away passes your watch's commands to your car through Tesla. Each one is signed by the key on your watch, the one your car accepted with your key card, so Coil's server can't command your car on its own.
Sign in with Tesla
Your Tesla account is your Coil Away account: there's no new password. You can see and remove Coil's access in your Tesla account at any time.
A monthly allowance
Tesla charges for every request that reaches a car over the internet. The allowance keeps the price low; your watch shows what's left. Plans and allowances
